パリへ行きたい

田中さん、
田中さんは三月に休みますね！いいですね。私はちょっとやすみたいですが、しゅくだいがたくさんありますから、ニョーヨークではらかなければなりません。たいへんですね。。。
田中さんはパリへ行ったことがありませんえ。三月にとてもきれいですよ。そして、びじゅつかんでえを見ることができます。Le Louvre と　Le musée d'Orsayは大きくて、ゆうめいで、人がおおいですから、田中さんはこのびじゅつかんへ行きたくないです。Le musée Rodin は　Le Louvre と　Le musée d'Orsayより小さくて、しずかなところです。Camille Claudelのへやがあります。Auguste Rodin はあまりしんせつな人ですが、Camille Claudel はとてもきれいで、おもしろい人です。私はCamille Claudelとけっこんしていたいです。でも、おねいがいします、かのじょをおしえてはいけません。びじゅつかんの後ろにこうえんがあります。

Le Musée Rodin

Musée Rodinへ行ってから、Café de la Grande Mosquéeで昼ごはんを食べてください。このレストランはcouscousとお茶 à la mentheがおいしいです。レストランで食べてもいいですが、Mosquéeにはいってはいけません。

 食べてからla Pinacothèqueへ行くことができます。小さいびじゅつかんです。あまりゆうめいえを見ることができます。とえもおもしろいですよ。私はあそこでUtrilloやValadonやMunchのえを見ました。
それから、ワインを買います。Le Canal St. Martinをちょっとさんぽして、ワインを飲んでから、MontmartreのLe relais de la butteで晩ごはんを食べることができます。Escargotsがおいしくて、とてもきれいなところです。

About Communication

Communication is an extremely complex phenomenon, but at the root of it is the latin word "commū´ni/ō  -ō´nis  f.  sharing in common, communion."

In other words, in order to communicate, you have to have something in common with whoever you are communicating with. This doesn't just mean a shared language, but shared experiences, references, etc. For example, it's often joked that older generations can't understand younger generations even though they speak the same language. On the other hand, through hand gestures, pictures, and grunting, it is often possible to communicate some ideas to a person who does not speak the language you do at all.

That's why learning a language is not just about learning the rules and vocab, but beginning to understand the culture of a different group of people. It's a tough task, and if we were to ever complete it, it would be more attune to communion, in the religious sense of a blissful sharing almost a bodily experience (think Catholic communion), which shares some of the same root words.


From this podcast project, I think what we are struggling with and will eventually learn about, is how to communicate to a Japanese audience, who might understand the words we are using, but little more! What do they care about? What will make them want to watch our video? How do we get into their heads?

えいごでブログを書いてはいけません！！！

きょう、クラスはおわってから、くつをぬいで、コンピューターをつめて、ちょうと　日本語をべんきょうしました。。。

すこし　かんじをよむ　ことが　できますよ。８月に　私は日本語が　ぜんぜん　わかりませんでした。日本語をべんきょうしたくなかった！私は　スパイン語のクラスへ　いって、ロシア語のクラスへいきました。でも、学生が　おおい　ありましたから、スパイン語ロシア語を　べんきょうする　ことが　できませんでした。黒沢（くろさわ）と　安部　公房　（あべ　こおぼお）と　三島 由紀夫 (ゆきお　みしま）が　とても　すきです、そして　みんなの日本のぶんがくが　すきですから、日本語を　べんきょうしたかった、でも　ちょうと　むずかし　ですね。。。


でも、今　たくさん　ならいました！　そして　とても　たのしい　です！Incroyable!


Seriously, with all of these new forms, I think we are moving beyond the beginner stage! わたしたちの日本語は　じょうずに　なりますよ！がんばって！
